The last few times I've driven by, I do not recall seeing anything left of the Dawg Father. It's shame, as I never got to try it.

L - I have absolutely no idea; I haven't been by that street in some time. I, too hope it hasn't closed.

Any idea what happened to the Dawg Father?!? I had a craving earlier but couldn't find it while driving by the location. I tried calling later but the line isn't connected anymore. Boo, I hope it's not gone forever. The owner is definitely an interesting character and I adored their hot dogs and ruby fries!

What an absolutely fabulous place! During the moment that I was eating the dog it took me back to NY. The other thing that has gone unnoticed but is equally as good are the ruby potatoes and coleslaw. The best fries I have had in the city. The coleslaw is fantastic -- not too salty and definitely not bland. The owner is a real character so if you are looking for some entertainment, eat in. This is an absolute must for all Edmontonians and visitors alike.
