When I was at Vi’s for Pies recently, I had a hard time resisting the peanut butter mousse pie! But I was pretty sure I would feel the way you did … halfway through, knowing I couldn’t finish. I had the lemon-poppyseed cake instead which was yummy, and not too rich.

Paula – I’ve actually never had anything but dessert at Vi’s. I will do my best to come back and take advantage of the enclosed patio, though.

Vi’s for Pies has incredible desserts. I would also recommend their chicken pot pie and shepherd’s pie for a meal – I have never seen a shepherd’s pie keep its shape on a plte before, without being in a cassarole dish.

Great news this week. Thanks for the Golden Forks update. It will be nice to vote again in the city after being away.

Oh and that piece of Peanut Butter Mousse Pie looks to die for..maybe one day we can organize an dessert based foodie meeting!
