Great list! Just wanted to mention one more thing happening in September. Dogapalooza is a family-friendly canine event happening on September 12th from noon to 4:00pm and is part of the Stony Plain Road area revitalization initiative. Details at http://www.dogapalooza.ca.

I love these little itineraries that you post – lets me know what’s going on around town (the bf and I are constantly at a loss for what to do on a date). Keep up the good work!

We’ve done the corn maze for the last couple years, and I couldn’t think of a better (or cheaper) way to spend an afternoon or evening. This year was much better than last, as I think we completed the whole thing in 20 minutes last year, due to people making their own trails. They have a great haunted house at Halloween as well!

(Oh and just on another note, Stony Plain already had an outdoor showing of Up…it’s great to see communities taking an interest in their youth).
